Since 2012 Brewster Murray architects and interior designers have designed numerous Group Homes for the NSW Department of Family & Community Services (FACS) - Aging, Disability and Home Care.

Group homes typically provide accommodation for up to 6 individuals in a non-institutional setting design to compliment and fit with the existing streetscape and character of adjoining residential development.

A group home site is selected for its accessible to services and supports to meet client needs, including family or social support, transport, commercial services, education, medical, employment and recreational facilities.

Group Homes are designed to accommodate a range of ages and needs including people who require additional support such as challenging behaviours and complex health needs.

24 hour live in support is available within the group home setting such that people living with disabilities are able to live independent, full and productive lives.

Brewster Murray has completed group homes throughout the Sydney metropolitan and regional NSW areas including:-
