In October 2020, Channel 9 undertook a significant evolution in its broadcast and operational journey by relocating NBN Newcastle from the historic Mosbri Crescent studios, where it had thrived for nearly six decades, to a cutting-edge facility at 28 Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle.

This move marks a pivotal chapter in NBN’s history, embracing modernity, technology, and a forward-thinking approach to broadcasting and workplace dynamics.

Brewster Murray’s design responds to the specialized demands of a leading television studio while facilitating a dynamic office environment. Accommodating 60 staff, Brewster Murray’s design creates a work place that is open planned and agile promoting a collaborative and flexible work culture.

This strategic move not only signifies NBN’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the digital age but also reaffirms its dedication to the Newcastle community, ensuring that the region remains at the forefront of high-quality broadcasting.
